Diagnosed with ADHD herself, and as an advocate for her autistic, learning disabled son Henry, Chrissy brings a powerful blend of lived experience and professional expertise to her work. This profound personal connection has driven her to delve deeper into understanding and championing neurodiversity, both professionally and personally.
Chrissy has worked across two male and three female prisons and is one of four trainers and coaches delivering a funded contract with Derbyshire Autism Empowerment, Support & Education (funded by Joined Up Care Derbyshire and Derbyshire County Council), providing 1-2-1 support and training to autistic individuals.
She is the Membership Offering Lead (volunteer) for Neurodiversity in Business (NiB) and an Oliver McGowan Facilitating Trainer. Her training approach moves away from deficit-based narratives toward strengths-based, burnout-aware systems.
